Day Camp

Day Camp:
This is the traditional 9am to 3pm camp with days to the pool and field trips.  No half day options are available.  We offer camp discovery for grades K-6, Teen Camp for grades 7-10 and Special Needs Camp for grades K-8th.  This year we will be adding themes to each week!  Be sure to check them out!

Important!!  DROP OFF AND PICK UP PROCEDURES:
The earliest time any child can be dropped off is at 7 am when before care begins.  Leaving children unattended at the school before that time is prohibited.  When leaving your child at camp you must directly hand them off to a counselor.  When picking up your child you MUST sign out before leaving.  
Walkers are responsible for checking in with a counselor at arrival and signing themselves out before leaving at the appropriate times.  

Before Care and After Care will be based in the Middle School Gym

Before Care: only for children attending summer day/sports camps located at the HPHS or HPMS

After Care:  only children enrolled in the after care program may stay.  Parent/Guardian MUST sign the child out no later than 6pm.  There is after care for the sports camp program.

Special Needs Camp
This inclusive summer camp will have staff trained in special needs. The counselors will work with the Camp Director to determine which activities will be best for each child in the group. Whenever possible each child will join their age mate groups to participate in the camp activities. The camps priority is to include each child in a way that will benefit them best. We will focus on peer interaction and community, giving parents an option closer to home to send their children. When signing up for the special needs program you should fill out the registration form in its entirety and we will contact you to discuss and set up modifications that will best support your child.

Late Fee:
Please note: After Tuesday, Jun 11th, there will be a $15.00 late fee to register. Once registered for one or more weeks, you may add extra weeks if there are openings. You must pay for those extra weeks by the Tuesday prior to the week attending. If you do not pay by the Tuesday before, you must add the week in-person at the Recreation Office. A late fee of $15.00 will be incurred.
