The Youth Co-Ed Wrestling Program offers students the opportunity to be introduced to the fundamentals of wrestling or to further develop their skills in preparation for the upcoming season. Participants will focus on fine-tuning technique, practicing core skills, and building physical strength and conditioning.
The program also highlights the rapid growth of women’s wrestling in both New Jersey and the Highland Park community, encouraging participation from all athletes. Instruction will be supported by volunteers with experience competing at a variety of levels, creating a diverse and supportive learning environment.
The program is led by Coach Evan Rodgers-Farmer, an experienced coach with numerous years of success at both the middle school and high school levels. Through this program, participants will strengthen their technical skills, physical development, and confidence on the mat while experiencing the values of discipline and perseverance that wrestling instills.
