All volunteer coaches for our Recreation Soccer League MUST register here each season.
COACHING REQUIREMENTS:
1. Active MyRec account and current coach registration
2. Completion of the online volunteer background check

3. Completion of the mandatory Rutgers SAFETY Clinic
4. Attendance at all coaches' meetings, trainings and the Meet, Greet & Practice event.
COACHING EXPECTATIONS:
BE PRESENT
Communication with the team, regular practices and regular attendance of games is essential for everyone’s success.
LEAD BY EXAMPLE
Good sportsmanship, positive thinking and love of the game are skills learned by seeing how it’s done.
CREATE A FUN ENVIRONMENT FOR LEARNING
Inclusivity, encouragement and equal playtime will allow all children to grow their athletic abilities while also having a great experience.
